11th day of ASI survey completed in Bhojshala complex of MP, Muslim side expressed this apprehension

Bhojshala Complex ASI Survey: The order to survey the Bhojshala by the Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court ended on Monday (April 1) after 11 days. The survey started yesterday at 8 am, which continued till 5 pm. Gopal Sharma from the Hindu side came out of the banquet hall and said that the survey is going on as per the order of the court. Although, he did not tell what was happening inside, but he did say in his conversation that we are satisfied with the survey.

Maulana Kamaluddin Welfare Society of Dhar had filed a special leave petition in the Supreme Court. In this, a demand was made to cancel the order of Madhya Pradesh High Court to conduct a survey to assess whether there is a temple or mosque in Bhojshala. The Supreme Court refused to stop the ongoing work. The Supreme Court said that ‘no action should be taken only on the basis of ASI report.’

Excavation has not reached the foundation yet
Apart from this, the court also gave instructions to avoid excavation that could harm the religious character of the site. Let us tell you that excavation is currently being done to reach the foundation. The excavation pit behind the sanctum sanctorum has now moved from west to east, creating an L-shaped shape. Although the foundations are not yet open, various objects such as stones used on stairs have been discovered.

ASI team is continuously working on the survey. Here in Dhar, Abdul Samad Khan of Sadar Committee has expressed the fear of hiding something like a skull during the excavation. Meanwhile, on Sunday, Revenue Department officials including Patwari and Revenue Inspector also measured the Bhojshala from all sides.
